When arranging a viewing you should always:

• be honest
• be positive
• make a list of sensible questions to ask

Landlords and agents want to know why you are the best tenant for the property and often this is based on you being friendly, clear and honest with your answers.

At the earliest opportunity inform letting agents and landlords if you are in receipt of benefits and whether or not you are in receipt of assistance with a deposit from the council.
