You must enter a valid reference number when making your transfer. This helps us identify your payment and allocate it to the correct account or service. Payments made without a correct reference may take longer to process.

Cheques should be made payable to East Cambridgeshire District Council.

To help us process your payment efficiently, please write the following information on the reverse of the cheque:

  • your address details
  • any reference numbers to allocate the payment correctly
