Neighbourhood recycling centres

There are items that we cannot accept in any waste streams we collect and some that can be recycled or disposed of via other channels. 

Witchford Recycling Centre

You can take a variety of waste to Witchford Recycling Centre. For more information about acceptable items, opening hours and permits for commercial-type vehicles and larger trailers, please visit Cambridgeshire County Council's website. 

Do not leave your waste on the ground next to the bins or at the gate when the recycling centre is closed, as it will be regarded as fly-tipping and may be subject to enforcement action against you.

Van and trailer permit scheme

Cambridgeshire residents using one of the following vehicles need to apply for a permit to dispose of household waste at all nine of Cambridgeshire's Household Recycling Centres:

• vans
• pick-ups / crew cabs
• campervans and minibuses with rear seats and fittings removed
