Housing help for non-British citizens

If you are from outside the UK you may be eligible for assistance in finding housing.  

This will depend on your nationality, worker status and length of time in the UK.  

Each person’s eligibility will be individually assessed.  

You will need to book an appointment or drop in to the council offices.

Please bring the following documentation with you:

• ID for all members of your family
• proof of your income
• proof of residence in the UK (housing history)
• if you are not from within the EEA or A2 countries, then you must provide your visa and all accompanying paperwork
