New bin delivery

We are delivering standard black bins first. If you have been approved for a larger black bin, you may receive a standard bin initially. We are contacting affected households separately with details about exchanging it for the larger bin.

Completed deliveries

All standard black bin deliveries have now been completed.

All bin deliveries to flats are completed.

Swapping for larger black bins has been completed in:

Aldreth, Haddenham, Isleham, Kennett, Littleport, Little Thetford, Lode, Reach, Stretham, Stuntney, Swaffham Bulbeck, Swaffham Prior, Wicken, Wilburton and Witcham.

Larger bins and shared bin areas

Deliveries for larger black bins and properties with shared bin areas will begin from the week commencing 18 May.

Residents approved for a larger bin have already received a letter with full instructions. Please remember to:

  • put your standard 180L black bin out for exchange from 18 May
  • keep your calendar pack, as a replacement will not be provided with the larger bin

If you forget to put your standard bin out, we will still deliver your larger bin. Standard bins left out alongside a larger bin on collection day will not be emptied. We will contact households where we were unable to collect the standard bin to arrange a separate collection

Bag collection properties

If your waste and recycling is collected in bags, you will receive your new purple bags for rubbish and the food caddies, alongside a delivery of recycling bags, with deliveries starting week commencing 11 May

When to expect your bins

We regularly update this page with the areas where deliveries have been completed. Before reporting a missed delivery, please check the completed deliveries list above.

If your neighbours have received their bins and you have not, please wait until the end of the next working day before reporting it. Our crews may:

  • have finished deliveries for the day
  • have returned to the depot to restock and may still return to your area

If there is a problem with the bins you have received, please use the relevant form below.

Important information once your bins arrive

Please read the information pack delivered with your bins, especially:

  • your collection day
  • which bins should be presented each week

From 1 June, collections will start earlier, from 6:30am instead of 7am. Please make sure your bins are out by 6:30am.

Please do not use your new bins until the new service begins, as we will not be able to empty them before then.

When your bins and food caddies arrive, please label them with your house number. This is especially important for food caddies, which are smaller and can easily be mixed up with neighbouring properties.
